Review by hotel critic

During my recent stay at It Buterhus, I found the location to be quite appealing, situated right in the center of Balk, overlooking the river. It offered a quaint charm, perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat. However, one drawback was the occasional street noise, notably during a lively street party one evening. The apartment itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a charming blend of traditional beams and modern decor. The inclusion of a kitchenette with cookware was convenient for self-catering, although some may find the low beams a bit challenging, especially for taller guests. While the value proposition was decent, with amenities such as free Wi-Fi and off-site parking available, the price point may not fully align with the luxury one might expect. The tranquil atmosphere and proximity to local shops were definite highlights. The option to borrow bicycles from It Buterhus for exploring the surrounding area added a nice touch to the overall experience. In conclusion, It Buterhus offers a comfortable and well-equipped accommodation option in Balk, ideal for those looking for a peaceful escape. While it may not boast extravagant luxuries, the cozy ambiance and convenient amenities make it a worthwhile choice for a relaxing getaway.
